IMPORTANT TESTING NOTICE - As of April 6th, 2009, applicants can begin to schedule their contractors exam with Prometric by calling 1-800-462-8669. Prometric will begin to give the test April 16th, 2009. Students can still schedule their exams with PSI until April 15th, 2009.

The program includes the contractors reference manual, a work book that takes you through the book with practice problems recommending what to highlight, a cd that includes practice tests designed to simulate the state exam, and permanent printed tabs.

Steps to Licensure

Complete the required training and pass CCB’s statewide test.
File your assumed business name, LLC or corporation with OR Corporation Division.
Submit a CCB surety bond.
Provide proof of general liability insurance.
Provide evidence of worker’s comp. and other employer account numbers if applicable.
Submit a completed CCB application with the $260 fee for two years.
