Idaho HVAC License (Contractor/Journeyman)

Requirements:	Applicants shall provide proof of a minimum of four (4) years experience working in the trade or as a registered HVAC apprentice making HVAC installations in compliance with the requirements of the State. Applicants shall provide proof, satisfactory to the Board, of having legally acted as an HVAC journeyman for a period of not less than twenty-four (24) months.
Services:	A HVAC/Refrigeration license enables a contractor to perform all aspects of heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, ductwork, ventilation, as well as gas piping to any heating apparatus or to appliances.

Continuing Education:	None at this time.
*Exam:	50 questions and a time limit of 3hrs (Journeyman Exam) 50 questions and a time limit of 2hrs (Contractor) Exam requires a 70% to pass. To schedule your exams, contact the bureau at 208-334-3442.
