Georgia Contractor License (GA) Seminars, Exams, Licensing

A contractors license is required in Georgia (GA) (beginning July 1st, 2008) at the state level for any residential or commercial project that exceeds $2,500 in value.  All electrical, plumbing, and conditioned air contractors, journeymen, and masters are also required to be licensed. Applications for licensure can obtained from the Georgia Construction Industry Licensing Board by calling 1-478-207-2440.  Examinations for electrical, plumbing, and conditioned air licensure can be scheduled through AMP by calling 1-800-345-6559.
